Extremes of a weekend

That walk on sunday turned out to be quite unexpectedly long... me and mark walked to clarach, then a bit further and decided to go all the way to borth and get a bus back as it was quicker than turning back.. Finally made it to Borth at about 3.30, looked for a bus timetable, noticed there was no sunday service listed so asked at the tourist information... No busses from borth on a sunday. Bugger. The next and last train was at 7pm, which would have got us back too late for the film (see below). Phoned lots of people i knew with cars, but for various reasons they were all unavailable which is fair enough (they all lost out on their fiver). Ended up getting a taxi back for £11, after the idea for a "jog" back failed as we got halfway up the first (not very steep) hill. Upon investigation it turned out to be 5.8 miles anyway... so that would have ended in death or failiure, or both.

After a soak in the bath, went to see the Matrix Reloaded, to be honest it wasn't all that great, perhaps i'm a bit confused by it as they seemed to have a lot going on, and the fight scenes I thought were very drawn out, and to top it off, they did the "to be continued" line at the end as it's now a trilogy. Yes, it might work for lord of the rings, harry pothead etc, but this is the matrix. don't fuck with the format, please.

Next day was not as good, had some news over lunch that I am not going to go into here, but we shall see what becomes of it.

Learned: There are no buses in Borth on a sunday
Current MP3: Scooter - weekend
